I’m proud to be seeking re-election as Cardiff Central’s Labour Member of Parliament. Since being elected in 2015 I’ve worked hard to be an effective, accessible and independent minded voice for everyone in our area, helping tens of thousands of constituents. I live in Roath, in the heart of our vibrant, modern, multicultural capital city. Through my weekly advice surgeries and street surgeries, as well as working with Cardiff Labour Councillors and the Welsh Labour Senedd Member, residents know they have a committed Labour team in Cardiff Central, looking after their interests. In Parliament, I have held a number of roles on Labour’s frontbench and I’m proud to serve as Shadow Secretary of State for Wales in Keir Starmer’s Shadow Cabinet. I’m a lifelong trades unionist, Secretary of the Trades Union Group of MPs and a member of GMB, Usdaw and the Cooperative Party.
