I live in Plymouth and work for a national charity as South West Area Manager. I started working in Plymouth in local pubs and shops, and went on to work for national organisations where I worked on areas including the future of jobs in the UK economy and technology policy.
Plymouth is my home and made me who I am. It is an honour to be selected by local Labour party members to fight to represent my hometown.
This Tory Government has overseen the biggest cuts to our public services in a generation. Too many people and too many places in Plymouth are being left behind. The NHS and social care is in crisis, our schools are struggling under the weight of the budget cuts and cuts to police budgets are putting our safety at risk.
It's time for the people of Plymouth Moor View to have a representative that will put them first, with a positive and ambitious vision for the future of the constituency. I will work tirelessly between now and the next General Election to let the people of Plymouth Moor View know that the next General Election will be a choice between a Labour Party that will stand up them or a Conservative Party that only looks after the privileged few.
We're a people-powered movement.
Be a part of it.
