I am an experienced defender of public services and I now work for an trade union which fights for teachers and schools. I’ve worked for many years for a medium sized business and after graduating from the University of Warwick, and I’ve long admired the great communities in the Stratford area.
Education is my passion. As the son of a primary school teacher, I’ve volunteered in schools, foodbanks, refugee charities and for local environmental causes. I was at the forefront of the campaign against Conservative cuts which shut down many of Warwickshire’s children centres.
I have a proven track record of defending public services after having worked for Matt Western MP, volunteered at foodbanks and refugee charities. I have run campaigns against wasteful local government vanity projects and fought for more affordable housing so younger people can afford to live and work where they grew up.
As part of Warwickshire SEND campaign I have campaigned for more support for children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
I have been heavily involved in efforts to force local councils to declare a climate emergency, along with helping to encourage the ‘Refill’ scheme to reduce plastic bottle waste across Warwickshire.
