I’m honoured to be standing as Labour’s candidate in my home constituency of Hazel Grove.

I’ve lived here for over a decade, and am raising my three children here. I understand the issues facing local people, who have been let down by fourteen years of Tory failure. People across Hazel Grove deserve better public services and the stability of a Labour government.

I spent the first ten years of my career as a civil servant, and more recently have worked across Greater Manchester on projects tackling poverty and the inequalities caused by the Tory government.

I’m the Shadow Cabinet member for Economy, Regeneration and Housing on Stockport Council, where I’ve been standing up for residents across the borough, pushing for more support for neighbourhood and district centres, and focusing on community safety - issues that really matter in Hazel Grove.

I know how much potential there is in Hazel Grove. I’m committed to working with local businesses, public services and community groups to make the most of this potential.
