I’m proud to be Labour’s candidate in the community where I grew up and where I call home.
 
 I’m privileged to have grown up here, attended our local schools and worked in our community. As a local councillor, I’m already listening to our residents and taking action on the issues that matter to them.
 
 I know that our residents deserve better than an absentee Conservative MP and a government that’s left our community behind. It’s time for change in Hertford and Stortford.
 
 I don’t just want better for our community; I have the vision and determination to deliver it. As your MP, I will be active and visible, totally focussed on the issues that matter to you, and I will work with the next Labour government to deliver for you and your family. 
 
 The coming General Election will be our best chance in a generation to elect the hard-working, local Labour MP that Hertford and Stortford needs.
