I was first elected in 2015 and I am truly grateful to the people of Halifax for the trust that they have placed in me in the elections since then.
However my time in opposition has made me feel more strongly than ever about the type of society we need to build.
One that works for working people. Where public services are fit for purpose and with properly funded schools, hospitals and enough police officers to keep us safe. Where social justice matters and things are fair.
That’s why I’m standing again to be the MP for my hometown.
We're a people-powered movement.
Be a part of it.
