Mary Glindon

Born and bred in North Tyneside constituency, I honoured to be the Labour Party candidate. It’s been a great honour to serve as MP for North Tyneside Constituency for the past 9 years. I have never taken a single vote for granted and have worked hard to keep my pledge to be a strong local voice in Parliament and do all I can to make life better for everyone in North Tyneside whether helping to bring over 2000 jobs to the area or helping individuals with their concerns. My values have never changed. I want to see a fairer and more just society. I’m proud to be standing on the fully-costed Labour manifesto, ‘A Time for Real Change’. A promise to investment in our public services and public sector jobs, and a National Care Service, end Universal Credit, protect all vulnerable groups under a new department for Social Security, invest in green industries and skills, establish a National Education Service, nationalise public utilities and build over a million homes. Areas like North Tyneside desperately need a Labour Government. I’ll be working to win for Labour in North Tyneside and for the real change Labour will bring for the many not the few.
