I am honoured and thrilled to be Labour's candidate at the next election.
I was born and raised in Ashfield and currently live in Sutton with my family.
I left school pregnant at 16, but thanks to Labour's investment in our towns and villages, I was able to get a job on the new minimum wage and childcare support from our local Sure Start centre.
I see the damage this Tory government is doing: foodbank use and homelessness are rising; good jobs are hard to find; hospital waiting lists are getting longer and police numbers have been drastically reduced.
People can't get the help they need anymore. I'm standing for Parliament to help get people the leg-up they need, like the leg-up the last Labour government gave me.
As our MP, I would fight for Ashfield, listening to the real concerns of our locals and making sure they were heard loud and clear in Parliament.
We're a people-powered movement.
Be a part of it.
