I was born and brought up in the heart of our city, attending a local school as a child and living within the constituency.

This election is a once-in-a-generation chance to transform our country and take on the vested interests holding people back.

I’m honoured to have served as your MP for the last 9 years. A Labour Government will deliver the real change Britain needs, so that no one is held back and no community in our area is left behind. It’s time to rebuild our public services, and give our NHS, schools and police the money they need.
