Twenty-five years ago I chose to make Rochford & Southend East my home and I have never looked back. I have lived, worked, and raised my daughter here. I am ambitious for this place and I know its people are capable of great things and deserve to be represented by someone that loves Rochford and Southend and the people, and will fight for what is good for all of us and make sure we never get left behind again.
The Tories believe they’ll be elected in Rochford & Southend East no matter how much they put our health, security and children’s education at risk with swingeing cuts to vital services and no matter what shambles they make of the Brexit negotiations. I want to change this.
A Tory MP is not a forgone conclusion and the people of this constituency can no longer be taken for granted. I believe in the Labour values of community, fairness and social justice for all and will be an MP that celebrates this great place we live in and stands up for the people of Rochford & Southend East in parliament.
We all deserve a local MP that is interested in what they can do to help local people, not how Rochford & Southend East can help them in their personal political career. That’s why I am standing for Rochford & Southend East, the place I call home. To represent this place and all of the people in it will be the honour of my life.
We're a people-powered movement.
Be a part of it.
