Dunfermline and West Fife is my home and my three children go to school here and I am determined to fight for a better, fairer future for our community and for Scotland.
I am standing for election because I want to fight for a country where power and wealth are in the hands of the many and not the few. I want to see real change and a fairer deal for all. I want to help deliver the better schools, better infrastructure and better public services our growing community desperately needs. I want to see an end to the scandal of foodbanks and working people forced into poverty.
In the last election, I came within 844 votes on winning; I am standing again because I know we can do much better with a Labour Government.
I have led the fight locally to deliver new high schools and to reinstate services at Queen Margaret Hospital. I am proud to have served as an MSP, with a strong track record of getting things done. I currently work promoting engineering to the next generation and I’m passionate about investing in the infrastructure we need to make Dunfermline and West Fife a better place to live and work for all
We're a people-powered movement.
