My name is Laura Pidcock and I was so proud to be elected Member of Parliament for North West Durham in June 2017. Before becoming an MP, I’d worked for an anti-racism education charity, been a mental health support worker and (when I was a lot younger) worked in McDonald’s.
It has been such a privilege to represent this beautiful and diverse constituency and I am now seeking re-election. Since 2017, my aim has been to have the voices of this area heard in Parliament, and I’ll never forget that it is the people of North West Durham who sent me there. I have so much hope for the future, but we need real change.
Together we can make that happen, for the country and North West Durham.
We're a people-powered movement.
